Here are some whimsical fairy poems. Hope you enjoy!

I know you like to come out at night.

Especially after a rain.

You gather the rain droplets off my roses.

You like my messy garden.

Lots of places to hide.

You twinkle like the fireflies but only brighter and of course much prettier.

Sapphire, ruby and jade--just to name a few.

You flutter in my garden,

You like to blend yourself in with the other butterflies so I can’t see.

You like to flutter by me and make me take a second look.

You probably giggle.

You like to sun yourself on my zinnia and daisies.

I see you.

Hello this summer day! In celebration of the summer solstice yesterday we have a little magical flash fiction. Hope you enjoy!

Flash fiction
It’s always been hanging there hidden in the ivy.
And once a year, if you look at it in the right way, it glimmers.
There is almost visions of another world inside of it.
But really what it is, is a signal to a veil being lifted between worlds.
Our world and theirs.
We call it faerie. One must be careful of those folks.
Their beauty is their lure that they use to entice you over for a visit.
Visitors never seem to come back or those that do, are changed.
Those changed ones are all wrong and some say in a low voice that they are changelings.
I look in their eyes and they give it away if they are real or not.
If their glamour is not perfect, I back away quietly and wonder about the one they replaced.
Where are they? What has happened to them?
One time this beautiful person caught my eye and we stared at one another. They were not long coming over to me.
His eyes were blue sapphire jewels. I knew I held eye contact for a second too long.
His smile was magic and I don’t think he even wanted to hide his glamour to me.
It was too late anyway.
“The longest day of the year. Let’s dance and enjoy it.” He held out his hand to me.
I looked around as if someone would be brave enough to rescue me.
My body was stiff as we danced but soon his magic made my body feel as light as a feather.
I will not follow you I told him.
He looked at me with confused eyes. “Follow me?”
“I will not go to the other side.”
He grinned and my heart sank as I already knew his answer before he leaned his lips to my ear.
“We are already there.”

Hello Everyone! Today I have a poem of sorts. I hope you enjoy! Have a great day!

 The Moon

I look up at the sky and stare at the stars and moon.

I sit quietly in my own dream.

The moon comes down and touches my cheek.

“Why are you so blue askes the moon?”

“I can’t smile,” said I.

“Come with me and I will make you smile again.”

The moon took my hand and I rode on its back up to the sky.

The stars all fluttered around me like sparkling fairies.

They tickled me and made me giggle.

“See said the moon. The star fairies can make you smile.”

The moon, the star fairies and I shared some cheese and wine.

What an enchanted evening!

The moon indeed made me smile again!

Hello this hot day! Hope you are keeping cool this summer. This might cool you off with this piece Beautiful Night. This is a start of a novel but thought I would share it with you. Enjoy!

Beautiful Night

Flash fiction

The dark shadows danced in my head.

Where are you?

A scent of jasmine and musk filled my senses.

The coolness of the night caresses me like your fingers down my arm.

I shiver.

Where are you?

The cool night air fills my very being.

The night hugs me like your arms.

Where are you?

A gentle night breeze rustles my hair and then a gentle breath brushes a strand of hair away from my cheek.

It almost felt like your fingers. Is it?

Where are you?

I close my eyes for a brief moment and when I open them I see amber pools that hold my soul.

You are here, my beautiful night.

Hello everyone! Happy Summer! Today we have a little crazy. Some more of my favorite from wonderland. Hope you enjoy.
Wonderland Gone Mad
Flash fiction
There was no control and for some that was the fun part.
But for the rabbit, it was chaos and madness that only ended up in the worst possible situations.
It all started with that kid Alice although the rabbit wasn’t sure that was her real name. He suspected her name was Ruby. You can’t trust a Ruby he thought.
So, here they were with all of Wonderland running around like a bunch of crazy loonies.
The only solution was to bring them all together for a gathering of sorts and set them all straight. Make some of them say they’re sorry for whatever it was. It wouldn’t matter as none of them would remember anyway.
The table was set. It was a very long table with a tattered cloth on top. Got ripped up from the last party. It would do.
The rabbit invited the right ones he thought. Left out the trouble makers.
For the most part everything was going smoothly. There was no fights and they all sat around drinking their tea and eating their sweets.
The rabbit was happy.
Then she showed up. His ears perked but no one appeared to be too upset by it. So he just watched her as she set down beside the faerie queen. The queen smiled at her so that was a good sign.
The rabbit was happy again.
It all started with the clink of a glass against the tea pot. Those sounds are never good.
He looked in the direction that the incident came from. Some butterfly creature was trying to get nectar out of one the flowers on the table and knocked a glass up against the tea pot. He shook his head and thought he should not have invited them.
His ears started to flop down his face when he saw who entered into the party.
“What do we have here?”
Everyone looked up and they all started to chatter amongst themselves.
That’s when Alice got up and the rabbit started to tremble.
Alice pointed at him. “You.”
He smiled back at her and pointed back at her. “You.”
The rabbit started to shake his head as the chatter got louder and suddenly music started to fill the air and they all rose from their chairs and started to dance.
Cups and glasses feel to their sides and tea was spilt staining the thin tablecloth.
“Get out,” the rabbit shouted at the mad hatter.
But it was too late.
Alice and the mad hatter started to dance and the others cheered and everyone started to join them.
The sound of the tea party brought more creatures from the forest out. Strange bugs with many eyes danced with lady bugs.
The dragon flies wooed the butterflies and the faeries started switching foods around.
The rabbit ran from one to the other, trying to get them out and then they started to form a dance line and where headed for…
“Don’t go there!”
But they didn’t listen. “Don’t go down the hole!”
He ran as fast as he could and he made it. He blocked his hole.
The mad hatter laughed at him. “You have two holes don’t you?”
The rabbit shook his head.
“Don’t be coy with me little fuzzy one, let’s go find the other hole.”
And wouldn’t you know it, Alice found it.
The rabbit couldn’t run fast enough. “Stop! Don’t you dare!”
But the silly thing slipped and fell and into the hole she went.
They all stood around the hole and looked. The rabbit pushed them out of the way to look. All he could see was blackness. It was too late.
He had to go after her so he jumped head first in.
The mad hatter grinned. “Tea party time.”
He jumped in followed by all the guest.
What followed was all chaotic. Smiling cats and a queen with a paint brush in her hand that was dipped in red was chasing everybody around.
They all laughed and where having the time of their life.
The rabbit sat in the corner watching the madness.
Now, how was he going to get them out?
